Never Ever Ever...
Will I be okay with leaving for work in the dark, and then returning home in the dark, for months on end. Thanks, Pacific Northwest.
Have I understood the obsession with Pumpkin Spice Lattes, or other holiday drinks from Starbucks. I stick with my regulars, no matter what the season. And I hate pumpkin.
Will I be able to repay my parents for all that they have given and taught me. I think about this a lot now that I'm about to become a parent.
Will I get sick of watching reruns of Friends before bed. I'm going to be inconsolable if they ever take that show off TV.
Did I think I'd be the type of person to hire a housekeeper. But now that I have one, it's totally changed my life.
Will I understand the rudeness of bus commuters. Every day I watch able bodied people ignore elderly and disabled riders so they don't have to give up their precious seats. Jerks.
Did I read the Harry Potter series, or see the movies. I realize I'm the minority here, but I just couldn't get into it!
Will I think I looked better as a brunette than as a blonde. I don't know if I'll ever go back...
Have I owned a dog, although I'd really like to someday. Maybe when our kids are older.
Will I get to experience this pregnancy again, so I'm trying to enjoy and appreciate every moment of it!

Ugh, I HATE pumpkin. However, since I don't drink coffee, I have found that I LOVE the caramel apple spice's from Starbucks (even though I'm not a Starbucks fan). And I totally watch Friends as much as possible. I may or may not have bought just the Thanksgiving episodes to play during our friendsgiving last weekend... and it was a big hit!
ReplyDeleteIts a great link up. I too have not read harry potter series.
ReplyDeleteI love friends and more.
I'm ok with the PSL from Starbucks, but it has so many chemicals in it! I pretty much despise most of the Starbucks holiday drinks.
ReplyDeleteI do, too... except I do like the caramel apple cider.
DeleteOMG do I hate the darkness of winter in the PNW! I feel like a mole because we never see daylight. And on days like this when it is so gray and cloudy, I don't feel like it counts as daylight.

I don't get PSL's either (Pumpkin Spice Latte). And I absolutely cannot stand people that don't give up their seat for the elderly. I'm the type of person who will give my seat up and have some type of outburst, telling the rude people that they need manners, etc. Oh! And you are NOT alone with the Harry Potter crap. I will never read, watch, or care about any of that. I feel the same way about Twlight.
ReplyDeleteI totally need a house keeper! Honestly, though, I would feel the need to give my house a totally thorough cleaning before I would be comfortable enough to let someone come clean my house. lol
ReplyDeleteI don't drink coffee but I don't think I'd be too into the pumpkin spiced everything. I do like pumpkin, but you know...it has a time and a place.
ReplyDeletepublic transport commuters can be so rude, but then sometimes people are so lovely. I always try to spot the person making a sacrifice. Although almost worse than the people who won't give up their seat, are the people who won't take the seat, so then there is an empty seat, but we're all so squashed on the tram/bus whatever that no one can get to it.
I don't mind pumpkins stuff, but LOVE the peppermint mochas! Mmmmm, Christmas in a cup!!
ReplyDeleteAnd yup, totally agree on never getting used to going to work and coming home in the dark. I hate it!!!
Hey girl, I nominated you for the "One Lovely Blog Award" ! Here's my post with the details: http://prettyintheeast.wordpress.com/2013/11/20/one-lovely-blog-award-nomination/
ReplyDeletePS when we move into our new, and bigger, house, I will TOTALLY consider hiring a housekeeper although it never crossed my mind before reading this post, it actually sounds like a good idea! & if you see the Chestnut Praline Latte at Starbucks, you should totally try it...It is SO good! It's a "test drink" so it's not available everywhere yet but its amazing! :)
ReplyDeleteI hate pumpkin. Don't understand that one either!
