It was kind of a process to figure out what worked, so I definitely wanted to share in case it would help other new moms. :-)Sarah Alwayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04592856192999277982noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1767878335192065262.post-9024262359713232192014-10-22T13:25:51.884-07:002014-10-22T13:25:51.884-07:00Well this page just got bookmarked! Here's a GIANT TIP FOR YOU THOUGH! Buy the Medela pumping bra. It holds up the pumps for you! HANDS FREE!!!!!!! It's amazing. :)Carolynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04505741249401392511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1767878335192065262.post-69206837775006690262014-10-10T16:31:40.481-07:002014-10-10T16:31:40.481-07:00Oh my goodness! I also knew that you would share with humor, and you did not disappoint. The teachers at my school usually go to the nurse's office to pump so that's quite helpful. I have pumping envy because 16-20 ounces is AMAZING. My hand-me-down pump never got me even close to that level. Pumping is so weird. I really have no problem breastfeeding in public and hardly ever cover up (we're in Bellingham though so that's completely status quo), but I was always super-paranoid about someone walking in on me while pumping -- I'd obsessively check and double check the door lock. Also, get yourself a handsfree pumping bra -- so much easier to read/blog/etc. while pumping with one of those. jessicajspencerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12823045897725854633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1767878335192065262.post-47198468095541253602014-10-10T14:04:40.843-07:002014-10-10T14:04:40.843-07:00You've got a great system going and you told i...You've got a great system going and you told it in a very entertaining and practical way :D! Though I'd screw-close that first pump session because what if someone knocked that over?!?!?! Devastating! I've also read the trick to put the funnels in a plastic bag and pop them in the fridge between pumps. Rinse, wash, and sterilize at the end of the day. Though you do have to put cold funnels on the 2nd pump session.
