A pile of dirt never looked more like home

We spent several hours this evening in our new neighborhood in Snoqualmie meeting with the site agent and wandering through the model homes. We have only about two weeks to choose all our upgrades and finishes for our new home, and it's quite an overwhelming process! But walking through the models, which are done in several different styles, really helped us narrow down the vision of what our new home will look like. We're really getting excited to start the process!

Here is our very first New Home Status Update...

It's just a pile of dirt for now, but soon enough this will be home.

Walking around our new neighborhood as the sun set gave me warm fuzzies inside.
I could actually picture us living in one of these homes,
walking down these sidewalks, befriending these neighbors.

And these breathtaking views will never get old...

We have an appointment next Friday to sit with a designer to discuss every detail of our new home, and I'm really looking forward to it! But it's a lot of pressure to make choices that we're going to have to live with for the next 15 years... so wish us luck!

  1. What an adorable neighborhood! I kind of reminds me of Issaquah? (That's where my brother lives). That pile of dirt will soon be your perfect home! :)

  2. Yes, it is very similar to Issaquah, just about 10 more miles east and a little newer. :-)
